gibson explorer guitar, Gibson explorer 2004, 76 reissue.Serial number 02834698This guitar was made at the Nashville plant, TN, USA on the 10th of October 2004. Production number 398. It's in ebony and white and made from a solid piece of mahogany. The fingerboard I believe is rosewood and 22 fret with dot inlays. The neck is somewhere between a rounded 50's profile and a 60's slim taper, making it perfect for both rhythm and lead. You will notice from the pictures that the pickups have been changed for the super quality seymour duncan SH 13 dimebucker. The sound is absolutely spot on, it's also very easy and superb to play. The guitar is in mint condition and comes in its original hard case. The case has got a slight scratch which I've tried to show in the pictures.Anybody who is seriously interested in the guitar is more than welcome to come a try it. If not completely satisfied and don't want to purchase I'll completely understand, so no pressure to buy.
